Senti ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Senti mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

• Email Address: Required for account creation and authentication
• Display Name: Optional, used to identify you in the app
• Password: Encrypted and stored securely via Firebase Authentication
• Votes and Ratings: Your ratings on companies, products, and services
• Voice Posts: Opinions you share about entities (can be posted anonymously)
• Comments: Replies to voice posts from other users

Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version
• Usage Data: Features accessed, app interactions
• Analytics: Anonymous usage patterns via Firebase Analytics
• Rate Limiting Data: Timestamps of actions to prevent abuse

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Authenticate your account and verify your identity
• Calculate sentiment scores for companies, products, and services
• Display your public opinions when you post voice content (unless anonymous)
• Prevent abuse through rate limiting and fraud detection
• Improve the app through analytics and usage patterns

Data Storage and Security

• Firebase Authentication: Your login credentials are managed by Google Firebase
• Cloud Firestore: Your votes, opinions, and comments are stored in Google Cloud Firestore
• Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
• Location: Data is stored on Google Cloud servers in the United States

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell your personal information.

We may share your data only in these circumstances:

• Public Display: Your display name and content you post (if not anonymous) are visible to all app users
• Aggregate Statistics: Anonymized voting data contributes to public sentiment scores
• Service Providers: Firebase (Google) processes data on our behalf
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government request
• Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Access Your Data

Request a copy of all data we have about you by contacting support@senti.app

Delete Your Account

Delete your account and all associated data through:

• In-App: Help → Account → Delete My Account
• Email: support@senti.app

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your email and profile information
• All your votes and ratings
• All your voice posts and opinions
• All your comments

Note: Aggregate statistics (not linked to you) remain for historical sentiment calculations.

Correct Your Information

Update your display name or email through the app settings or by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Senti is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact support@senti.app immediately.

Third-Party Services

Our app uses these third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, analytics - Privacy Policy
• reCAPTCHA v3 (Google): Prevent automated abuse during signup - Privacy Policy

Data Retention

• Active Accounts: Data retained as long as your account is active
• Deleted Accounts: Personal data deleted within 30 days
• Aggregate Data: Anonymous voting statistics retained indefinitely
• Backup Data: Removed from backups within 90 days of account deletion

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes through in-app notification or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
